Conch is a mollusk with the highly recognizable shell used to make horn sounds. Conch has a sweet, slightly smoky flavor that is similar in texture to clams. It comes from the Florida coast and the Bahamas.

Conch comes in a frozen block and thaws in the refrigerator. Marinate it in lemon or lime and serve raw or use in conch salad which is similar to ceviche. Do not overcook or meat will become tough.
